Book of the Month Club

I can’t believe it took me this long to consider signing up for a book subscription box. I typically love visiting bookstores and getting lost in a cloud of book bliss as I float from shelf to shelf.

In recent months I have found myself shopping online more often mainly because my grandparents are visiting me for a few months and I don’t want to expose them or anyone else to Covid.

I mentioned this to a fellow book lover and they instantly recommended @bookofthemonth subscription. As an added bonus members can sometimes get books early, which is fine by me since I have a hard time waiting for new releases. I am so glad I decided to check it out and I can’t wait for my first book to arrive. The 1/2 mile walk to my mailbox will now be much more exciting, even when it’s freezing outside.

December will be the first month that I will get to select a book and I am already counting down the days. After reviewing some of the books for previous months, I can definitely say I am probably going to be using the "add-on" feature a lot, which will allow me to select additional books. Book mail is going to be so much fun, but I should probably add a bigger bookcase to my Christmas wishlist this year. I already have stacks of books all over my home and I can justify it as an artistic choice, but it is starting to become unruly. Though one can't be judged for having too many books right?
