To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before - Collection

Given that this year has been extra challenging, I have sought to incorporate happy stories into my reading list because these often tend to fill my soul and lift my spirits.

The To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before collection by Jenny Han, was exactly what I needed this year. These books are filled with romance, teenage dreams and aspirations, and a lot of very real and relatable moments. While reading these books, I was instantly transported back to my high school years and filled with happy memories.

I must admit that I watched the first Netflix movie before reading the book and thus I enjoyed that film tremendously. I cannot say the same for the second film, as I felt it was rushed and lacked all of the tender moments that made the second book so memorable. Nevertheless, I am excited to see how Netflix wraps un the series with their final installment.
