Do you prefer your romance novels to be steamy or cheesy-cute?
I personally prefer my romance novels to be a little bit of both. I love a good cheese fest but some added steam to turn up the heat 🌶 is always good too. After reading Get a Life, Chloe Brown by Talia Hibbert , I can say that this novel has the perfect combination of both.

The novel follows Chloe Brown as she tries to get a life by checking some items off her list. Given her medical condition she has been burned in the past so she isn’t exactly ready to open up and trust again. Cue in the rebellious sexy artist Red Morgan (also the sup at her apt. Complex) and watch sparks fly as he helps her complete her list and finally realize what truly matters in life. Despite, being incredibly handsome and caring, Red also has secrets of his own. His previous relationship was terribly abusive and threatened his status as an artists. Needless to say this has left him a little weary of posh women, but something about Chloe is just too alluring.
This novel is funny and endearing. The characters have so much wit and sass that I constantly found myself laughing out loud. They also have a lot of depth and it is easy to relate to them and their struggles. The romance is realistic and is perfectly portrayed by a couple that understands that we all have baggage, we all have fears, we all have strengths, and that a couple must work together to fill in each other’s gaps in order to be stronger together.
🌟🌟Bonuses: Realistic steamy scenes + interracial couple + talks about class differences + talks about chronic illnesses + talks about abusive relationships and trauma + talks about the importance of therapy +has a plus-size protagonist 😊😊
If you haven’t read it, please do...you won’t be disappointed. I can’t wait to read the next two books in the series soon.
Looks like something I would enjoy
I have had this one on my TBR for a while, Need to get to it soon.
